Hi.
I have just fitted a replacement alloy and tyre to my car from the same model as mine but 2018 car.
Now this alloy has TPMS sensors same as mine. But now my TPMS doesn't recognise the replacement alloy.
Tried the relearn function but it just starts with horn beep and left indicator comes on but nothing else.
Tried letting air out and filling while relearn is active but nothing.
Any way round this or do I need to buy a relearn tool to reset.
Anybody had same problem??

Thanks

Hi
I think you need to buy a relearn tool as I haven't heard of any other way to do it. Quite cheap to buy on amazon or ebay. Got one myself, as I have always swapped my back tyres on to the front to even wear on all four tyres.Very good piece of kit for the money.

Yes you will need the tool (EL50448) for the manual relearn system,a word of caution though,
whilst the valves may look the same they are in fact different parts numbers for a 2015 Astra J and a 2018 Astra K
i'm not saying they won't be compatible but worth bearing in mind if the manual learn doesn't work when you try with the tool
