Hi again chaps. My long lasting 1.7DTi is not starting. Re-charged battery (6 Months old), starter (New one fitted last year) cranks over fast, but not starting. Fuel filter replaced in last 8 months. No panel lights indicating a fault. It has just started doing this in the last couple of weeks.
It sounds like it could be the EDU. It is the ECU that controls the injectors. You can buy them refurbished off ebay. Apparently they are the most common non start fault, unless your cam belt has snapped.
Can anyone help me find out what these codes are please, any voltage measurement to carry out and repairs. Thanks in anticipation. P0381 (4) Glow Time Telltale Circuit Voltage low. P0251 (8) Spill Valve Malfunction (Injector Pump) Not Present. Give me an old Viva to work on!!!!! LoL
Anyone no anything about an Astra g mk4 keeps juddering wen I release acceleration peddle it's a 1.7dti
