G'day, have just joined your forum. I have had my Holden AH wagon (a locally badged 1.8 litre, 5 speed manual"H") since its birth in February 2006. it has done 230000km on Australian roads (some of those can be a tad rough!).
The car doesn't leak or burn any oil, I've fitted new brake discs, a front oxygen sensor, and recently renewed the suspension, but apart from that it has had normal servicing. I had the dealer service the thing until it was 6 years old, and I've regularly serviced it myself since then.
I usually get around 80000 km per set of tyres, and use between 5.5 and 6.2 litres/100km.
I only keep it because it keeps going strong and I have yet to see a suitable replacement.
Good to read some of your experiences.
