Hi guys,
There's something wrong with my traction control... it works fine when it has too ;) but for some reason every time iv used my car for the past 2 or so weeks it just kicks in without me even putting my foot down and cuts all my power to the point of stalling :/ so i have to turn it off and on again for it to stop, which is a right pain in the gonads specially if it kicks in on a roundabout!! does anyone know what this is or might be cuz its doin my head in and hoping to sell my car at the end of next month so need it tip-top?
cheers
Callum

Maybe the hub rings are fubar. Check the connection to them first then replace the sensors which i believe are £60 from ecp

Hubs are around 100 quid for the 1.9 iirc, due to have the larger drive shafts.

But to really get to the bottom of it you may need proper diagnostics from the wheel sensors, one on every wheel, to see what's causing the tc to kick in when it does.
