Highest I've had on trip computer was 68mpg, but with the CRD2 on, the trip computer was inaccurate to roughly 15mpg over.

Sorry for late reply - I set a new personal best the other week - for an average potter around journey (no track or european mountain roads available) average over 120 miles - 17mpg

I do about 15 miles a day to and from work...and had set myself to keeping below 3000 r.p.m.

Did it for most of the tank but had the odd naughty spell.....I just put £54 of VPower in her and im gonna do no travelling over 3000 r.p.m. for the whole tank....see what figures I get from her then......
