: spanner sign ?

spanner sign just come up on my car, did the fault finder thing to find out what the code was and i wasnt quite shore what i was looking at but i notice some thing like

III3061
or
III306
or
III261

ECN0000

anyone got any ideas? :S

if its spanner goin through a car its imobilizer or engine management. or it could be service light. look in ur car manual or get sum1 to cross referance the codes into words

the light went out last night and hasnt come back on :S il have another try at gettin the code on my lunch

Codes will still be stored on the ecu

right mate i have got faults for 2 codes but please dnt think these are correct as i am using a mac tools obd and the start with a p then the code but herre is what i have found

III306 cylinder 6 missfire detected

III261 cylinder 1 injector circuit low

but rember these could be diffrent as i used a mac tools one mate but i hope this will help u out mate

that sounds expensive !!

i got the codes i done a video

when i pulled up at a around about, the revs dropped below 1k and bounced back up then the spanner light come back on :/

nope no one , not had no one do no work on the engine at all except oil filter change like 2 years ago which i was planning on doing next week wen i get some cash

yea its driveable, one min the car is fine next min the light comes on, but its happened twice recently that the revs drop below 1k , no limp mode or nothing if thats what you mean

These may well be codes for a different engine, the same codes aren't necessarily for the same fault on all engines.

some one said it might be the spark plugs because they need changing , and it may be the coil pack, what spark plugs do i need?
