View Full Version : number plate lights
Got an '05 plate Astra H 1.4. Not got any number plate lights. Its not the bulbs cause i changed them. Cant find the fuse for them and it is not listed in the fuse diagram. Wires for the lights go into the rear fusebox by the looks of it but the fuses look ok. Any body had similar problems or got any ideas? Cheers :'(

not a clue on this one mate but you would still be in warranty i take it, take it to a garage and get them to look at it
Cheers bud. I am a mechanic though! Haha. Its my own car. Thought it would just be a fuse but cannae find it. I'll have another look. Cheers. Think i got another month on the warranty but might just have to take it back.

Sounds like something diagnostic-based, if it's not the fuse or the wiring. In which case, you can be the best mechanic out there but you won't be able to fix it without the diagnostic kit.
Definitely take it back while it's still under warranty, the car isn't roadworthy without the lights and you shouldn't need to pay to have it fixed.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful mate.
Got a diagnostic machine at work, i'll stick that on tomorrow and see what comes up. Just didnt want to take it back and find out its a fuse! Haha.
Cheers
