is shell V-Power diesel classed as bio fuel? i don't think it is but my dad got told not to use it in his audi cause it was bio fuel and it would blow the seals on his engine??? ive used it a couple of times now and it seems to make my car run faster and smoother plus i get an extra 2 miles to the gallon...

I've been using v-power diesel for the past 2-3k miles so I hope the engine is fine with it... Does seem to perform ever soo slightly better...

What I've gathered from german forums it's only regular diesel with an injector-cleaner additive...

Recently switched from v-power to ultimate diesel, must say I and car prefer the BP product, even if is costing 118.9p / litre.

I have been doing a few trials over the past few weeks, I can honestly say I am not sure Shell V Power or BP Ultimate is worth the money. It only has a slightly higher cetane rating.

I found the following. A Forte diesel treatment at £5.00 every 5000 miles keeps the injection system nice and clean which is what BP U and Shell V claim to do.

I managed to get 556 miles from a tank of Shell V-Power, and the tank afterwards of normal Texaco I got 549 miles.

Yes I was driving with economy in mind but it makes me wonder if the expensive stuff is worth it. I may be wrong but it does'nt really feel any quicker.
