Blown inlet manifold gasket

i have a 55plate cdti sri 150 its done 28000miles and only had it 4months and already had it back to dealers fo a timing belt kit in december and yesterday it started making a loud ratteling and tapping noise when reving above 2000revs took i back to dealers today and was told it was the inlet manifold gasket that had blown.surely these problems shouldnt occur on a 2year old car only doing 28000miles.Has anyone else had these problems?
And do you think i should get rid of this car before prob no3 starts.:'(

never had this problem. it could be down to the previous owners driving. :(

as i know myself, if i were to get rid of a car, id rag the sh*t outta it :lol:
